back to some j-jazz with a fiery live date from trumpeter hino. unlike a lot of this stuff here he's with an all-japanese band. lots of percussive energy here. i'm liking the saxophonist here, hideo miyata... maybe somebody can recommend more by him to me?

Miyata Hideo is known to have performed on tenor-soprano saxes, flute, harmonica, cabassa, assorted reeds, vocals and Afro-Cuban percussion. See below for a few albums that I know he has played on (that does not mean I have them all. I have the Masuo Yoshiaki set and will get to it in time - stay tuned at The Pit! (Also, I have been invted to attend in May his Japan premier sho for his new CD!!!)
. . .it is shame that you are stingy with this lovely Hino set and do not offer a good bit-rate, otherwise i would check it out (we devils are snobby and greedy audiophiles %^(
